The true justice & the blood of Christ...

Orthodox Christianity

God knows full well that people in this world act unjustly, that full justice is possible only at the price of the blood of Christ, and that it will reign supreme on the day of the Last Judgment. True justice is actually a frightful thing for men.
Solomon goes on to tell us that we ought not to think ourselves overly righteous, to go about rebuking people right and left, and thereby destroy ourselves. Be wise, but do not make yourself out to be too wise. This is very important, because many believe that it is a good thing and the right thing to speak the truth, and that one should always “call a spade a spade.” But there is a patristic saying that states, “Always know what you are saying, to whom you are speaking, how you are speaking, in whose presence you are speaking, and what the consequences may be.” Thus, King Solomon rejects the various self-appointed crusaders for justice, the justice-leaguers, the justice-beleaguers. These are not the virtues of the Gospel, but rather the sham virtues of this world.
