Orthodox Africa Mission Statement:
Our Volunteers intend to cooperate and collaborate with Non-Profit Orthodox Orphanages; Saint Barnabas; Saint, Constantine & Saint Helene; and Saint Tabitha along with their priests, children and their community with the intent to Glorify God using their Blessed talents to offer support with website design, business, art, fundraising, budgeting, plea letters, etc. in an attempt to further their outreach for donations and charitable support.
We as volunteers receive no part of the donations and have no overhead, We have set up an online donation system using paypal which will assure direct donations to the orphanage, with the ultimate goal of being able to provide better support for the children. The donations are intended solely for the betterment of the children in areas of education, medicine, food, shelter, teachers, and to provide them with a loving environment.
We intend to work as a team, within the Orthodox beliefs of providing Christian charity, always presenting ourselves with prayer showing a warm, loving, tolerant manner and being as much as possible living examples of Christ in this world. In Christ, Cherie...
